Eden After Service (EAS) is a SUICIDE PREVENTION CAMP FOR VETERANS. EAS will operate as an urban farm that will provide temporary, transitional housing while using horticulture therapy, along with medicinal cannabis and other natural remedies, to help Veterans transition back to life in the civilian world. Your tax-deductible contributions will be used to purchase property, mini-homes, greenhouses, utilities and the equipment necessary to operate our first facility near San Diego, California. The vision of EAS is to provide a safe haven of healing in every state and help reduce veteran suicides across America.
EAS will undoubtedly save lives, while helping countless military veterans …who suffer similar invisible injuries… return to a somewhat-normal existence with their families, friends and loved ones. USMC Sergeant Sean J. Major has lost more brother-and-sisters-in-arms to pharmaceuticals than to combat. His dream is a simple one… to save as many lives as possible …as soon as possible!
Sean is an active-duty Marine assigned to the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California. He lives with 33 medical conditions, including PTSD & four Traumatic Brain Injuries, from dedicated service to our great Nation. Just a young man, Sean has more prescription drugs than most people receive in a lifetime and these dangerous, pharmaceutical combinations, or combat cocktails, are killing our Veterans at an alarming rate of 22 veteran suicides per day in America! Our beloved Veterans deserve honor & our respect. PLEASE, Sean needs your support to save his life …and the lives of so many other brothers-and-sisters-in-arms.
The problem worth solving
A Department of Veteran Affairs study in 2014 revealed more deaths from suicide, opioid addiction & overdose [7,403] than the total service members killed-in-action in Iraq and Afghanistan from 2001-2016 [6,884]. “An estimated 22-50 military Veterans lose their battle with addiction, overdose and suicide every day in America”
Veterans must save Veterans lives
Federally-funded agencies designed to assist our brothers-and-sisters-in-arms FAIL in communities across America. It has become clear the problem is not our Veterans. At Eden After Service, we believe Veterans are – in fact – the solution.
A Tremendous Opportunity
Economists and industry experts agree…America’s legal cannabis industry will grow from $7 billion next year – to $20 billion by 2020. As more U.S. states favor legalization, research suggests the cannabis industry will exceed $50 billion in revenue over the next ten years. America’s Veterans deserve to stake their claim in our nation’s next “gold rush” – an economy they have sacrificed to preserve. The time for us to band together and capitalize is RIGHT NOW!
Eden After Service is currently seeking capital investment partners for a Veteran-centered cannabis cultivation company.
We strongly encourage & truly appreciate your charitable contribution to EAS and our effort to reduce Veteran suicides in America.
